2024 Mileage Rate Increase. Gsa has adjusted all pov mileage reimbursement rates effective january 1, 2024. Beginning january 1, 2024, the internal revenue service (irs) has increased the standard mileage rate from 65.5 cents per mile to 0.67 cents per mile.

1, 2024, the standard mileage rate for the business use of a car (including vans, pickups, and panel trucks) is 67 cents per mile. The new mileage rate will go into effect on january 1, 2024.
